One month ago, today, we launched Unconscious/Television (2025) by Lucas Ferraço Nassif ( a book that addresses the author’s discontents with Lacanian Psychoanalysis, especially in regard to the Unconscious. The book, following two seminal works from Lamarre, turns its attention to Japanese Animated Television (with a few exceptions) in order to get out of the western cinematic canon and western animation.
