Becoming is a machine; a publishing machine. We publish books, magazines and traces (interviews, essays, articles, reviews, letters, films). Sometimes, some of these traces are materialised into books or magazines. You can submit articles, reviews and audiovisual work and we can "trace"—or xerox—them in the immaterials archive which is cared for by a librarian. Becoming is as much a photocopier, as it is a pirate, as it is a publishing house, but it is also none of these things. Becoming is a computer, run from a single computer by just a couple of computers. Becoming hardly exists.
